Mapping Transfeminicide

I'm always interested to pick up topics about social issues in my project.  One of the topics that I'm interested in is the gender issue. I found the data from Kaggle about transfeminicide that refers to anti-trans violence, especially against transgender women.

My intention in this project is to learn more about p5.js, so I didn't spend too much time setting up the categorisation and was just focusing on building the map.
I gathered references from Pinterest, and also found a website "Queering the Map" that heavily inspired this project.
There are so many categories from the data set and because of the time limitation, I didn't have time to work on this. So, I just created a simple categorisation based on the first word of the death cause and the size of the triangle represents the amount of death causes that happened to the victims. If I had more time, I would make a more specific categorisation by looking at the death context.
This is the sketch how what I want my visualisation to look like but along the making, I hit some problems in the
I'm sure there's a more clever way to code than just coding them one by one.
This is the final visualisation that is not perfect yet, but since we just had a few sessions to finish this project, I couldn't expect more than this and would love to try more projects in p5.js.
Thank you for watching my learning process.
I wrote more of the process on my blog if you're interested.
